Believe it or not there have been multiple rebellions against God’s authority.
Adam and Eve and the Serpent
So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring[a] and hers; he will crush[b] your head, and you will strike his heel.” (Genesis 3:14-15, KJV)
The Watchers rebelled
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:1-4, KJV)
The lists goes on thru out the bible. If you have chosen to follow Jesus and be faithful to God then you have chosen a side. Do not think the enemy has not noticed. Spiritual warfare is real!
